"I studied to become a graphics artist / illustrator at Dundee College alongside night classes from James MacIntosh Patrick at Duncan of Jordanstone University.
Starting a family at a young age meant my painting career was put on hold until 2018
when the last of my three kids flew the nest.
I decided to focus my art work on the Highlands and Islands of Scotland which inspire me to paint land and sea scapes .
I sometimes enjoy adding Scottish wildlife to my paintings, and I love painting forests and rivers throughout the seasons.
For most of my life I've worked in design, advertising and illustration .
Since 2012 I have worked with adults with mental health as a support worker ."
